Life is All That Is – it’s constantly flowing and transforming – and so “death” is merely a transition, and not a finality.
Energy that manifests on the physical realm, and visible to the sense organs, is only different to energy on more subtle realms by degree, or frequency. 🌈
When someone is tuned into energy on other realms, they are able to perceive those realms that are “invisible” to the human senses.
That’s what a shaman, medium, or channel is able to perceive; and usually, they will help guide deceased or lost souls to the Light. Traditional terms for this part of their role include deathwalker, spirit guide, or psychopomp.
According to the Oxford Dictionary, the term psychopomp originates from the Greek psukhopompos. Psukhē translates as soul, and pompos is a conductor.
So a psychopomp is a guide of souls.
In that sense, I find that working with a “deceased” soul is not much different from working with a living soul.
Although, you may be wondering why a deceased soul may be “stuck” or not want to move forward to their next stage of Life? 🤔 The answer can be a little complicated…
- Perhaps the soul passed in traumatic circumstances, and is not currently aware that they’re deceased.
- Or a deceased soul may be too attached to a living soul – or life on the earth plane – and simply refuses to move on.
- It could also be that a person willingly took their own life, and succumbed to suicide.
- A deceased soul may believe they deserve to be in ‘hell’, so they continue to suffer after they pass from the earth plane.
Unfortunately, passing from this earthly realm whilst in certain states of mind, may prevent a soul from moving forward into the Light. 😢
Why?
Well, contrary to popular belief, it’s not because they’re banned from ‘heaven’.
It’s mainly because the deceased soul cannot perceive the Light that is always there. Once again, due to more complicated and highly individual reasons.
I won’t delve into those reasons right now. Losing a loved one can be traumatic enough for those left behind, and there are no words that can ease the pain of a loved one’s passing. 💚 Please know that you are not alone.
What we perceive as “death” is part of Life…
…and it is my honor to serve Life.
